The financial work that decides the outcome.

Bridgeway Advisors Group is a senior-only advisory firm for privately held companies between $5 and $50 million in revenue. Work with us on a defined project, or utilize ongoing advisory services.

Senior people do the work

Every engagement is staffed at CFO and director level. There is no junior team behind the pitch.

Built for the lower middle market

Companies at $5–50 million carry real complexity without a full finance bench. That gap is our practice.

We work alongside your advisors

Your CPA, counsel and lender stay in place. We handle the analysis they are not positioned to run.

Core services

Four practices, one standard of scrutiny.

Each engagement produces something a third party can rely on — a quality of earnings, a borrowing base, a forecast, a monthly operating report.

Transaction services

Buy-side and sell-side support through mergers, acquisitions and ownership transitions.

  • Quality of earnings and EBITDA normalization
  • Financial due diligence
  • Business valuation support
  • Ownership transition and succession planning
  • Working capital and net debt analysis

Banking and financing

Obtaining capital, staying inside the credit agreement, and managing the lender relationship.

  • Borrowing base review for asset-based lending
  • Covenant analysis and ongoing monitoring
  • Lender reporting packages
  • Refinancing and debt restructuring guidance
  • Capital structure review

Accounting and advisory

The finance function a company needs before it can justify hiring one outright.

  • Budgeting and pro forma modeling
  • Cash flow analysis and forecasting
  • Financial statement compilation and preparation
  • KPI analysis, including sales force productivity
  • Vendor disputes and workouts
  • Employee benefits and insurance analysis

Bankruptcy and restructuring

Accounting and financial advisory for companies and stakeholders in financial distress.

  • Bankruptcy accounting support
  • Monthly operating reports (MORs)
  • 13-week cash flow and liquidity analysis
  • Liquidation and reorganization accounting
  • Chapter 11, Chapter 7 and out-of-court workouts

Capabilities

What the office of the CFO actually has to produce.

Four bodies of work sit behind every engagement. Most clients start in one and end up drawing on two or three.

Modeling and analysis behind the decisions that change who owns the business or how it is capitalized.

  • Sell-side and buy-side M&A modeling
  • Quality of earnings and EBITDA normalization
  • Business valuation and exit analysis
  • Pre- and after-tax equity waterfall analysis
  • Debt sizing and covenant design modeling
  • Capital raise and financing models
  • Project finance and return on investment analysis
  • Strategic alternatives and scenario analysis
  • Complex capital structure design
  • Owner and employee incentive plan analysis

We do not perform audits. We prepare and defend the information that auditors, buyers, lenders and courts review — which is why we can sit on your side of the table.

How engagements work

Scoped to the decision, not to the calendar.

Every engagement is defined in writing before it starts — deliverable, timeline and fee. You are told early if the work is not worth doing.

Defined project

A single deliverable with a fixed scope and fee: a quality of earnings, a valuation analysis, a borrowing base build, a restructuring model.

Typically four to ten weeks

Interim and fractional CFO

Senior finance leadership on a recurring basis — close oversight, forecasting, lender and board reporting — without adding a permanent executive seat.

Monthly, ongoing

On call through a transaction

We stay engaged from LOI through closing and the post-close true-up, sitting on your side of the table for diligence requests and purchase price adjustments.

Through close

You will know both of us by name.

Tell us what you're working through.

A first conversation costs nothing and usually takes twenty minutes. If we are not the right firm for the problem, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
